1st - 7th
1st, LP 991 hPa W of Hebrides, cold front N to S across England, moderate to light rain late pm into evening. 3rd, LP 981 hPa S of Iceland / W of Ireland, HP 1018 hPa W of Denmark. 4th, dull with a trace of rain from drizzle, sunny from evening. 5th and 6th, cold front lies N to S across England giving sharp temperature differences to E and W. Rain from 21h on the 6th to 1.30h on 7th with some further drizzle on a very dull day which brightened only at early evening.
8th - 14th
8th & 9th, mixture of sunny periods and cloudy spells. 10th, LP 1009 hPa Southern Scotland, warm front passes during the day bringing low cloud but only a trace of rain from some light drizzle. 11th, LP 1006 hPa W of Southern Norway, HP 1030 hPa Azores, cold front crosses S England. 12th rather dull, daytime, sunshine evening. 13th, light rain 4.30 to 7.30am from cold front, sunnier pm. 14th, sunny intervals but mainly cloudy.
15th - 24th
LP 993 hPa NE of Scotland and S Norway, HP 1021 hPa ridging from Azores. Cloudy start on 15th giving way to sunny periods later. 16th - 20th Mixture of cloudy and sunny periods except 19th very sunny. 21st: LP 972 hPa NE of Iceland, LP 1015 hPa NE of Azores, HP 1029 hPa Baltic states, series of troughs crossing the UK giving two rain showers pm. 23rd: LP 977 hPa SSW of Iceland, HP 1026 hPa Northern Germany.
25th - 31st
25th, LP 991 hPa NW of Outer Hebrides, HP 1016 hPa Biscay, two light rain showers pm. 26th, ex Hurricane Bill LP 993 hPa near Inner Hebrides, light rain showers mid-morning and evening. 27th, rather cloudy and becoming rather windy. 28th, LP 986 hPa near NE Scotland, trough brings heavy but short rain showers pm, one briefly with hail. 29th - 31st much cloud but also sunny periods especially 31st.
