1st
LP 982 hPa Iceland and 1000 hPa Italy, HP 1026 hPa Finland and 1025 hPa Atlantic 50°N 20°W. A bright start with a spell of sunshine but clouding over by 10.00 giving an overcast afternoon with some light spots of rain and drizzle in late evening.
2nd
An overcast morning clears slowly in the middle of the day to give some sunny spells.
3rd
Fog and mist clears during the morning to give long spells of hazy sunshine.
4th
Early mist and low cloud clears briefly in mid morning to give a brief sunny and hazy spell. More cloud moves in from the east and moves away/breaks up only slowly to give some sunny intervals in the afternoon.
5th
A day of grey skies and murky thanks to a large area of virtually immobile stratus cloud over southern England and parts of Benelux. A brief spell of weak sunshine in late afternoon.
6th
Another day starting with a blanket of cloud, which lifts and breaks a little in the afternoon to give some brief milky sunshine.
7th
Early cloud lifts during the morning to give intervals and spells of very hazy sunshine, mainly in the afternoon. Always plenty of high and thin cloud around.
8th
HP 1024 hPa W of Ireland, LP 1009 hPa Norway/Denmark. A sunny start although some fog down in the river valley. Almost uninterrupted sunshine with very few clouds all day although some cirrus weakening the sunshine towards the end of the day.
9th
A bright and sunny start to the day but with increasing cloud after mid-morning. Some long sunny spells again in the afternoon and early evening .
10th
A sunny and clear start but cloud develops after 09.30 with a long cloudy and briefly dull spell in the middle of the day. Becoming brighter again in the afternoon with longer sunny spells later.
11th
An overcast and dull start, staying cloudy all day although a little brighter for a time with some specks of blue sky in the middle of the day.
12th
HP 1027 hPa North Sea. A cloudy start but slowly brightening through the morning to give some long sunny spells especially in the afternoon.

Rather cloudy with some early mist, cloud breaking up in the morning to give some sunny spells.
14th
Some early brightness but becoming cloudy through the morning. A brighter afternoon with some sunny spells.

A mainly cloudy day although fairly bright with a few short sunny spells.

UK in a col with HP to W & E and LP to N and S. Early mist with visibility around 400m, clearing before 09.00. Becoming bright with longer sunny spells developing from late morning. Precipitation from condensation early am.

A very cloudy day and rather dull until mid-morning. Brightening slowly with a few short sunny intervals but staying very hazy all day.

Misty and murky start becoming brighter after 09.00. Staying cloudy but some short spells of hazy sunshine break through, mainly in the afternoon which becomes very warm and humid.
19th
A short spell of heavy rain in early morning as a trough moves northwards. Another murky morning with some mistiness and only brightening up in late morning. Some long sunny spells in the afternoon amd again becoming very warm and humid.
20th
HP 1027 hPa Azores, LP 1007 hPa Southern Norway. Early morning fog with visibility around 150m. Mist clears but an overcast and at times very dull day.
21st
Sunny spells in the morning and early afternoon but rather cloudy from 14.00 onwards before the sky clears near end of the afternoon.
22nd
A bright morning with spells of rather hazy sunshine and a few patches of cloud. Haze and cloud clears later to give brighter and longer sunny periods in the afternoon .
23rd
Another day with spells of hazy sunshine and patches of high cloud. Cloud increases in the afternoon to give a slightly dull end to the day.
24th
A short spell of rain, rather heavy for a time, in early morning clearing away by sunrise. Bright morning with sunny intervals before cold front passage brings more rain for half an hour in late morning. A bright and breezier afternoon with a few sunny spells.
25th
HP 1027 hPa ridging from Azores. A sunny start but with patchy high cloud through the morning and early afternoon sunshine becomes more intermittent. Rather more cloudy from mid-afternoon.
26th
A cloudy day, dull at times, and with only a brief spell of brightness in the afternoon.
27th
Another very cloudy day and again dull at times, just a short lived spell of brightness in the middle of the day.
28th
Fog in the night clears before sunrise, precipitation is from condensation. A bright day with sunny spells in the morning and early afternoon but clouding over later.
29th
Early fog gives way to overcast sky by 08.30. Staying rather dull for most of the day with just a little brightness in the late afternoon following a brief spell of light drizzle.

A cloudy morning with some light showery rain around 11.00. Clearing to give rather sunny afternoon.
