1st
LP 973 hPa SE of Iceland, HP 1027 hPa Hungary. A mainly cloudy morning with a few sunny intervals, becoming sunny from early afternoon. New site record high daytime temperature for any November day.
2nd
A spell of rain from warm front around 08.00 then dry but staying cloud and mainly dull through the morning. Cold front brings three spells of rain during the afternoon which is very heavy in pulses and remaining very dull.
3rd
LP 983 hPa N Scotland. Slow moving fronts bring rain from early morning to late afternoon, a couple of drier spells but some very heavy pulses of rain too. Sky starts to clear towards the end of the afternoon with just a brief glimpse of sunshine late on.
4th
Light rain in the night from passing showers. A bright morning with sunny intervals although with low cloud and mist for a time. Cloud clears to give a long sunny period in the middle of the day before it clouds over to give an overcast end to the day. There is a further spell of rain in the early evening.
5th
A few light rain showers in the night. A cloudy day although fairly bright with a short sunny spell in the early afternoon.
6th
Clear and sunny start with ground frost although misty in the river valley. Cloud moves in from the south west giving a cloudy afternoon. Rain arrives a little before midnight.
7th
LP 973 hPa south of Iceland. Long spell of rain from warm and cold fronts, heavy at times, continues from the previous night. Further showers in the morning dying out to give sunny spells from late morning.
8th
A heavy rain shower around sunrise. A very cloudy day with just a couple of sunny intervals as rain edges slowly from the west. Cold front arrives in the evening bringing some very heavy rain for a time with lighter rain continuing overnight.
9th
Light rain during the night followed by some light rain showers. A cloudy morning but clearing just before noon to give a sunny afternoon.
10th
Some heavy and thundery showers during the night. Short sunny spells throughout the day with a light rain shower in the afternoon .
11th
A bright morning with sunny spells, slightly hazy with high cloud. Clouding over in the afternoon and a spell of rain in early evening into the night.
12th
Some brief rain showers clearing away during the morning to give a sunny afternoon.
13th
LP 958 hPa S of Iceland & W of Ireland, LP 986 hPa SW of Scilly. Short spell of rain just after midnight. An overcast and rather dull day with just a brief moment of brightness in the middle of the day. Further short spells of rain from late afternoon.
14th
Trough and cold front gives rain, heavy at times through the morning. Clearing after midday to give a couple of sunny spells in early/mid afternoon.
15th
Early fog, then very heavy rain briefly around 08.00 followed by intermittent lighter rain through the morning and early afternoon. Gradually clearing to give some sunny intervals late in the afternoon. Brief rain shower in the evening.
16th
Early fog with visibility below 200m. A cloudy day, at times overcast and dull. A long spell of light rain starts in the early evening and eases off before midnight.
17th
LP 996 hPa East Anglia. Light rain resumes after midnight continuing into the rush hour. Brighter for a time in the morning with some weak sunshine. Becoming dull in the afternoon with showery rain.
18th
A cloudy day with three or four short sunny spells as well as a couple of brief and light rain showers coming down from the NE.
19th
Fog with visibility down to 200m in the early morning, slowly clearing. Mist and cloud gives way in early afternoon to allow a long spell of hazy sunshine.
20th
Rather misty but fairly bright morning with cloud clearing to give a few spells of hazy sunshine into the afternoon.
21st
An overcast and very dull day with a little rain in early evening.
22nd
Overcast and gloomy with a short spell of light rain in the morning and another in early evening.
23rd
LP 1005 hPa NNW of Scotland. After some intermittent rainfall overnight, persistant rain - sometimes heavy from 09.30 as a pair of cold fronts track very slowly eastwards and finally clearing around 19.30. Temperature falls steadily after early morning through the day.

A bright morning but extensive high cloud allows just a few sunny intervals. Becoming clearer later with a long spell of sunshine in the afternoon.
25th
Mainly cloudy and dull at times with just a little brightness in mid-morning. Some light rain in the evening.
26th
Rain in the night, then a very gloomy and damp day with light drizzle persisting. Later in the afternoon becoming very foggy with visibility < 200m, this followed by another spell of rain in the evening.
27th
A spell of rain in the hour before sunrise. Another mainly cloudy day with just very brief brightness in mid-morning, followed by a dull afternoon.
28th
Another dull start to the day, cloud gradually thins to give a few sunny intervals in the afternoon. A little light rain in the evening.
29th
LP 992 hPa SE Spain. A cloudy but bright morning, with the high cloud slowly clearing in late morning to give a long sunny period to sunset.
30th
A bright but cloudy morning. Cloud clears from the NW for a time to give a sunny spell in late afternoon.
