LP 986 hPa NE of Shetland. Rain during the morning, light at first but a little heavier for a time around midday and clearing by 13.00. Brightening in the afternoon to give a few very short sunny intervals.
2nd
LP 984 hPa Orkney. A rain shower in the early hours, sunny, clear and breezy start to the day but becoming cloudy in mid-morning. A spell of rain with squalls as a cold front passes just before noon, bringing also a sharp drop in temperature. Blustery afternoon with some sunny intervals with showers passing nearby.
3rd
LP 984 hPa south of Iceland, LP 999 hPa Denmark. A windy night with a brief spell of rain. A bright day with many sunny spells despite plentiful cloud cover from time to time. Rain arrives from the west late in the night.
4th
LP 987 hPa Central England. Rain continues from the previous night as occlusion crosses. A clear morning with a long sunny period. Becoming more cloudy from early afternoon but mostly bright with some sunny intervals.
5th
LP 995 hPa Central France & Germany. A fine start with a spell of sunshine, becoming cloudy with showery rain from the north in mid-morning. Turning brighter again but with another band of showery rain from the north in mid-afternoon.
6th
Bright and sunny early on but patchy cloud drifting across from the north west becomes more extensive as the morning passes. The afternoon is more cloudy with a few sunny intervals and overcast by the end of the day.
7th
Another day with a sunny and fine morning before cloud starts to spill down from the north. Some sunny intervals in early afternoon with a brief and light rain shower in mid-afternoon.
8th
LP 975 hPa Iceland. A rather cloudy day but often bright with some sunny intervals through the day until mid-afternoon. Rain arrives from the west late in the night, as a low pressure develops in St George's Channel and tracks eastwards.
9th
LP 983 hPa Dorset. Persistent rain in the night, very heavy at times, gradually dying out by 09.00. Staying overcast for much of the day but with a brief sunny interval in late morning and clearing late in the afternoon to give a long sunny spell.
10th
LP 1011 hPa filling and moving south into SW France. An overcast and rather gloomy morning except for a short spell of brightness towards midday. Overcast and dull again through much of the afternoon until the cloud clears from the east just before 16.00 to give a long spell of hazy sunshine.
11th
A foggy start, with visibility down to 200m and precipitation from condensation. Slowly clearing around 09.00 to give spells of hazy sunshine with patchy high cloud lingering at times.
12th
HP 1034 hPa southern Sweden. Foggy morning with visibility around 100m around 07.30 and improving only very slowly. Spells of hazy sunshine from late morning but the sun is hidden by high cloud and haze from the middle of the afternoon onwards.
13th
HP 1041 hPa Denmark. Generally bright, with a mixture of cloudy spells and spells of sunshine which is again hazy at times. Cooling in mid-afternoon despite the sunshine as the light wind turns more north-easterly.
14th
HP 1039 hPa off coast of NE Scotland. Rather cloudy morning with a few sunny intervals, feeling cool with the NE wind. Cloud clears from the east soon after midday to give a rather sunny afternoon.

HP 1040 hPa Shetland. A murky and overcast day, rather dull for all but a brief spell in late morning
16th
HP 1039 hPa Shetland. A spell of drizzle in the early hours. A rather cloudy with some sunny intervals but also rather dull at times.
17th
HP 1035 hPa Faroe Islands. A day with some long sunny periods and patchy cloud in the morning. Rather hazy all day.
18th
HP 1033 hPa W of Outer Hebrides. Overcast and dull all day with slow moving fronts moving across from the North Sea.
19th
An overcast morning, brighter at times. The cloud breaks only briefly in the middle of the day before becoming overcast again in early afternoon.
20th
A cloudy morning, dull at times, but brightening after midday to give some sunny intervals.
21st
Another very cloudy day with just a little brief brightness.
22nd
A clear start with a light frost. Long spells of sunshine although more cloudy for a period in late morning.
23rd
Overcast and mainly rather dull day although less so at times in late morning.

LP 975 hPa Iceland. An overcast morning but bright for a short time with a little sunshine after midday. Becoming overcast in the afternoon with light rain from mid-afternoon as fronts arrive from the west.

Good Friday. LP 974 hPa Iceland. Rain, mainly light, continues overnight, clearing a little after sunrise. After the cloud breaks and moves away, a day with a some long sunny spells especially in the afternoon.

LP 977 hPa W of Ireland. Dull, overcast and increasingly windy through the day with intermittent light drizzle. The rain becomes heavier after 18.00 and continues in spells into the night.
27th
LP 980 hPa NW of Ireland, LP 988 hPa W of Biscay at 20°W. Rain showers in the night and first thing, followed by sunny intervals and thundery showers during the day.
28th
LP 971 hPa "Storm Katie" tracking from Cornwall to the North Sea off the Yorkshire coast. A very windy night and early morning with rain dying out during the rush hour. Some spells of very heavy rain in the night with severe wind gusts causing some damage locally. Rather cloudy in the morning, with the wind easing gradually, but brighter later with some sunny spells.
29th
LP 991 hPa S of Iceland and W of Outer Hebrides. A bright morning with sunny spells before a heavy rain shower with some hail passes over in late morning. More sunny spells in the afternoon before rain arrives from the west in early evening.
30th
Cloudy and sunny spells through the morning and afternoon. A couple of heavy and prolonged rain showers in the later part of the afternoon into early evening.
31st
A rather bright day after a cloudy start with some long sunny spells.
