LP 1003 hPa Wales. A short spell of heavy rain around 01.00. Day breaks with some drizzle which clears to leave a spell of mist. After the mist clears, cloudy with a glimpse of sunshine before the passage of an occluded front brings further rain in late morning, which is torrential for a while before easing off and clearing after midday. A bright afternoon with some sunny spells.

LP 1006 N of Netherlands, HP 1020 hPa Biscay. A rather cloudy morning with cloud drifting down from the north. Clooud breaks in late morning to give sunny spells in the afternoon.

LP 961 WSW of Iceland, HP 1036 hPa northern Norway. A sunny day from start to finish, with thin high cloud at first but clearing completely in the afternoon.

LP 1016 S of Ireland, HP 1049 hPa central Norway/Sweden. A bright day with sunny spells throughout and the majority of cloudier spells in the morning.

LP 1018 S of Ireland, HP 1046 hPa Sweden. A sunny day with very little by the way of cloud.

HP 1044 hPa W Norway. A cloudy and fresh but fairly bright day with sunny intervals after mid-morning.

HP 1041 hPa Northern Norway. Overcast and gloomy to start the morning, becoming a little brighter towards late morning. Turning overcast and dull again for a period after midday but clearing in late afternoon to give some sunshine.

HP 1042 hPa Northern Norway. A spell of rain before sunrise and a mainly overcast morning. Becoming a little brighter in early afternoon with a couple of sunny intervals but a band of rain crosses from the NE later and the rest of the day is again overcast.

HP 1043 hPa Northern Norway. Some long sunny spells but less bright at times as cloud passes across from the NE.

HP 1041 hPa Northern Sweden. Sunny and clear for much of the morning until cloud again crosses from the NE in late morning. Sunny and cloudy spells in the afternoon.

HP 1038 hPa Western Sweden, LP 996 hPa at 50°N 20°W. Rain showers in the night and first thing, clearing to give some long sunny spells during the rest of the day.

HP 1037 hPa Western Sweden, LP 1002 hPa Galicia. Overcast and dull through most of the morning with intermittent rain coming from the ENE. Brighter from late morning with some sunny spells and a rain shower just before sunset.

HP 1035 hPa Southern Norway, LP 1001 hPa Biarritz area. Rather cloudy especially in the middle of the day but bright at times with sunny spells in the morning and afternoon.

LP 994 hPa SW Ireland. Sunny spells in mid-morning and near midday but a very cloudy afternoon and becoming dull later.

LP 994 hPa SSW of Ireland. Bright with a little sunshine at first, becoming overcast and gloomy for a time. Clearing and brightening to give some sunny spells in early afternoon before a band of rain pushes in from the south in late afternoon and evening.

LP 994 hPa NW of Ireland. Dull with a spell of rain in the morning, clearing by 09.00. Becoming brighter with plenty of sunny intervals through the rest of the day.

LP 999 hPa S of Iceland, HP 1028 hPa NE of Azores, HP 1042 hPa Russia. A fairly cloudy start but with sunny intervals and spells developing from mid-morning. A rain shower just after midday and another in mid-afternoon withe sunny intervals in between and a long sunny spell to end the day.

LP 1008 hPa North Sea, HP 1032 hPa NE of Azores, HP 1037 hPa Russia. Another cloudy start and rather dull before the cloud breaks in late morning to give some long sunny spells through the middle of the day and afternoon; a fresh breeze.

LP 1008 hPa Rhineland. A very cloudy day with just a few small breaks in the morning with a cloudsheet feeding in from the north. Becoming very dull in the afternoon with a short spell of rain.

LP 1013 hPa Central Germany. Another very cloudy day but brighter for a time in the morning. Again becoming dull in the afternoon with a few drops of rain as a showers pass down from the NE.

Once again a very cloudy day with just a few bright and sunny intervals in late morning.

A sunny period to start the day with cloud slowly increasing towards midday. More cloudy in the afternoon with some shorter sunny spells.

LP 987 hPa NE of the Azores, HP 1053 hPa Northern Russia. A hazy and chilly start, with the sky clearing in mid-morning to give some long sunny spells. Clouding over in mid-afternoon.

A very cloudy day, dull at times and with only a short glimpse of the sun in late afternoon.

HP 1027 hPa Southern Norway. Overcast and dull for much of the morning and a little murky at first. Cloud very slowly lifting and clearing to give a long sunny spell from mid-afternoon.

HP 1031 Brittany to Poland. Cloudy start with haze, slowly clearing to give some sunny spells from late morning.

HP 1035 Brittany. Precipitation from condensation. A dull and rather murky start, slowly brightening from mid-morning to give sunny spells, mostly from midday to the middle of the afternoon.

HP 1037 Cornwall. A long sunny period in the morning and early afternoon, with some patches of thin high cloud. Clouding over in mid-afternoon and becoming overcast soon after.

Overcast and dull for most of the day although the sky clears towards sunset.

HP 1031 hPa Netherlands. After a foggy start, another overcast and dull day with the cloud thinning a little in late afternoon. Precipitation is condensation from fog.

HP 1041 hPa mid-Atlantic, HP 1030 hPa southern Germany. A bright day with long sunny spells interrupted by large patches of high cloud from time to time.
