HP 1039 hPa S of Iceland, LP 1002 hPa southern Sweden. A slightly misty start clearing to give a moment of hazy sunshine before cloud thickens in mid-morning. Overcast and dull for much of the remainder of the day with a slow moving cold front across central parts bringing a little drizzle around sunset.
2nd
A bright day with virtually unbroken sunshine and very little cloud.
3rd
HP 1023 hPa Germany, LP 1004 hPa SE of Iceland. Bright with sunny spells and intervals but cloudier in the afternoon. A spell of rain in the evening.

LP 1008 hPa English Channel. A cloudy morning becoming overcast by midday. A dull afternoon with persistent light / moderate rain lasting into the evening.

LP 994 hPa Denmark. Some light rain in the early hours. Very cloudy day, overcast and dull at times but a brief glimpse of brightness in late afternoon.

LP 994 hPa W of Denmark, LP 995 hPa Genoa. A clear start giving a long period of sunshine into the middle of the day after which it becomes cloudy. Overcast by late afternoon with a spell of rain after sunset.

LP 1003 hPa NW France, LP 1006 hPa Genoa. A mixture of cloudy and bright spells, a little dull at times but also with short sunny spells and intervals. A brief light rain shower in mid-afternoon.

LP 968 hPa NW of Iceland, HP 1034 hPa Northern Scandinavia. A bright morning with a long sunny spell from mid-morning. Turning cloudy by midday and ovecast by late afternoon. A spell of rain arrives from the west in late evening.

LP 991 hPa moving slowly eastwards along the English Channel. Persistent rain, light at first, starting in the early hours; becoming heavy around sunrise for an hour. Very dull with intermittent rain continuing into mid-morning before slowly clearing. Staying overcast and dull until the later part of the afternoon when some breaks in the cloud allow a couple of sunny intervals.

LP 1000 hPa N of Scotland. A cloudy day with some sunny intervals in the afternoon and a rain shower around sunset.

LP 971 hPa Iceland, HP 1024 hPa southern Norway. A fine and sunny day with some thin high cloud and small cumulus from time to time.

LP 1012 hPa Isle of Wight. A miserable Saturday - overcast and dull with rain and drizzle starting in mid-morning and persisting well into the evening.

HP 1035 hPa NW of Galicia. A bright day with sunny spells and intervals but also more cloudy at times.

LP 954 hPa SW of Svalbard, HP 1037 hPa from NE of Azores to C Europe. A dull and overcast morning with a spell of rain and drizzle clearing by 10.00. A very brief glimpse of weak sunshine after midday but becoming overcast and gloomy again quickly afterwards.

An overcast and generally dull day with just a few small breaks in the cloud in early afternoon. A spell of light rain in the evening.

LP 971 hPa NE Iceland, HP 1035 hPa NNW of Azores. Light rain and drizzle in the early hours. A fine morning but cloud allows only a few sunny intervals. More cloudy in the afternoon and dull for a while in mid-afternoon but clearer by sunset. A brief but heavy rain shower in the evening.

LP 976 hPa E of Iceland. Bright for a time in the morning with some sunny intervals, clouding over to give a spell of rain in late morning. Staying mainly cloudy after midday with a short spell of very heavy rain in mid-afternoon accompanied by strong gusty winds. A further spell of rain in the early evening.

LP 979 hPa Southern Norway. A clear start with a long sunny spell in the first part of the morning. Clouding over after 10.00 and becoming overcast for a long spell before the sky starts to clear again. More sunny spells in the early and late afternoon.

LP 988 hPa SW of Ireland, NW of Galicia tracking ENE. Frosty and clear start with a long sunny period lasting until midday. Cloudy in the afternoon and becoming very dull with a spell of rain towards the end of the afternoon. Further rain in the evening and night as the deepening LP approaches.

LP 970 hPa London area "Storm Angus" moving NE. A very wet night with some bursts of heavy rain in the early hours, rain largely clears by 08.00. The rest of the day is overcast and very dull. Further rain arrives from the south in late evening and into the night.

LP 979 hPa Cornwall. Light rain continues overnight, briefly heavier at times in the early hours. Becoming drier but damp with some drizzle for a period starting before sunrise and remaining rather dull through until late morning. Two further spells of heavier rain in early afternoon but clearing to give a short spell of sunshine before clouding over again later. Rain showers in the night.
22nd
LP 994 hPa NE England. A heavy rain shower just after midnight then a drier period. Frequent light rain showers in the morning slowly becoming less frequent from midday. A few sunny intervals in the afternoon.
23rd
HP 1024 hPa Northern Scotland, LP 1002 hPa Catalonia. A very cloudy day with only the occassional tiny break in the cloud cover.

HP 1031 hPa NW Scotland, LP 999 hPa Galicia. Another very cloudy day with more breaks in the cloud at time but not enough for the sun to break through for more than a few minutes.

HP 1029 hPa NW Ireland. A sunny day with some early high cloud which clears by late morning.
26th
A frosty and sunny start to the day, becoming cloudy in late morning and rather dull by mid-afternoon.
27th
HP 1033 hPa N of Shetland. Mainly cloudy through the day with a few breaks and some short lived brightness. .
28th
HP 1035 hPa North Sea. After overnight cloud clears before dawn, a sunny and mainly clear day.
29th
HP 1036 hPa Mid Atlantic across to Germany. A hard ground frost and a sunny and clear day.
30th
HP 1035 hPa Atlantic W of Ireland to Central Europe. A near repeat of the previous day - a hard ground frost with a sunny day but some small patches of thin, high cloud at times. Precipitation is frost melt.
