HP 1047 hPa S of Iceland, a long straggling cold front across the UK moving SE. A dull and overcast day with light rain arriving from the west in the early afternoon. Rain is a little heavier for a time in the early evening and clears by midnight.
2nd
HP 1043 hPa S of Iceland. A mostly clear and sunny day with uninterrupted sunshine through the morning and some patchy cloud for a short time in mid-afternoon.
3rd
HP 1034 hPa W of Ireland. Frosty and clear start with high cloud becoming extensive from late morning onwards. Precipitation from melted frost/condensation.
4th
A very cloudy day with a rain shower just after midday and a brief glimpse of sunshine later.
5th
HP 1038 HpA S Norway, 1035 hPa S Wales. A slight frost with a clear start and a sunny day with very little by way of cloud.
6th
HP 1043 hPa. A hard ground and air frost first thing. Quickly becoming cloudy with just a sunny interval in mid-morning. Overcast in the afternoon with a long spell of light rain in the evening.
7th
A spell of light rain and drizzle in the early hours. An overcast, dull and rather murky day.
8th
A very cloudy day with short-lived brightness in the middle of the day. Becoming overcast and dull in late afternoon with some drizzle. A short spell of heavier rain later in the night.

LP 973 hPa SSE of Iceland. Cloudy in the morning with small breaks from time to time. Becoming dull and overcast in the afternoon with light rain. Rain moves away and sky clears after sunset.

Broken cloud after sunrise allows a brief glimpse of sunshine. Becoming more cloudy in mid-mornind and overcast during much of the afternoon. Sky starts to clear around sunset.

Bright but cloudy at times with short sunny spells in the morning. More cloudy in the afternoon with just a couple of sunny intervals.

LP 995 hPa develops and deepens rapidly in the English Channel, moving E. Dull and overcast with light rain starting in late morning. Rain becomes steadily heavier during the afternoon and quickly turns to snow as the temperature drops sharply in early evening when cold air sweeps in from the NNW. Snowfall lasts around 2.5 hours giving a covering of about 1.5 cm with a slow thaw starting later.
13th
LPs 985 hPa S Norway and Poland. Remnants of snow and ice from the previous night thaw despite a further spell of sleet and snow in midmorning. The remainder of the day is rather cloudy with a few sunny intervals and a cold wind.
14th
Showers in the morning giving sleet, snow, graupel and rain at different times. Otherwise a very cloudy day with a few sunny intervals but starting to clear by sunset.
15th
Overcast and dull with light rain starting around sunrise and lasting through the day and into the evening as a warm front very slowly moves eastwards.
16th
Very cloudy. Dull and overcast for a time in late morning with a spell of light rain as the warm front slowly edges back westwards this time.
17th
HP 1039 hPa Netherlands. Patches of cloud drift across from the NE in the first part of the morning allowing just a few sunny intervals. Sky clearing in late morning to give a long sunny period in the afternoon.
18th
HP 1042 hPa Western Poland. A hard frost with a clear and sunny start. Remaining sunny through the day with just some haze from contrails and occasional thin high cloud patches.
19th
HP 1041 hPa Eastern Germany. Early high cloud clears before mid-morning to give a sunny day with just a few small cloud patches from time to time. Precipitation is from condensation.
20th
HP 1040 hPa NE Italy. A sunny and clear day. Precipitation is from condensation.
21st
HP 1036 hPa Hungary. After a hard frost, a sunny and virtually clear day.
22nd
HP 1036 hPa Balkans. Another hard frost followed by a sunny day but this time with a strong haze. Fog forms in the night, becoming dense.
23rd
HP 1029 hPa English Channel. Dense fog overnight lasts throught the entire morning with visibility well below 100m. The fog thins a little in the afternoon to give a short clear slot in mid-afternoon before reforming with visibility reduced again to less than 100m, but less dense at times in the evening and night.
24th
HP 1031 hPa Germany. Patchy early cloud gives way to clear skies by mid-morning and a sunny day. Becoming misty during the night.
25th
Fog slowly clearing in the morning but remaining overcast, dull and murky all day with mist reforming by evening. Precipitation from condensation / melted frost.
26th
Dull and murky for most of the day, and feeling raw> Sky starts to clear from the south near sunset. First "ice day" (i.e. temperature remains below freezing all day) since January 2013.
27th
LP 985 hPa W of Outer Hebrides. Cloud moves across in the night leading to a rather cloudy morning with just a little brightness towards midday. Overcast and becoming dull in the afternoon with a little drizzle.
28th
A spell of drizzle in the early hours and an overcast start to the day. Cloud breaks in in and late morning to give some sunny spells but the middle of the day and afternoon are very cloudy before the cloud breaks again by sunset.
29th
A cloudy morning but brighter for a time in late morning with some sunny intervals. Becoming overcast and dull in the afternoon with rain arriving from the west by sunset, lasting into the night.
30th
LP 1008 hPa Netherlands. A little drizzle in the night. An overcast day, dull at times.

LP 961 hPa E of Iceland. After some drizzle in the night, an overcast and very dull day with a little intermittent light drizzle in mid-morning. Rain pushes very slowly across from the SW in the evening and night.
