LP 992 hPa W of Ireland. A short rain shower in the night. Fairly bright to start with a moment of sunshine but cloud thickens from mid-morning to give a little drizzle in the afternoon as passes from the SSW.
2nd
LP 984 hPa Shetland, HP 1021 hPa SE France. A rain shower during a very windy night. A fine day although windy at first with sunny spells and variable amounts of cloud. Wind speeds decrease in the afternoon.

LP 986 hPa Cork. A spell of rain in the morning, staying very cloudy and rather dull at times in the afternoon.
4th
LP 982 hPa Irish Sea. A very cloudy day although not dull as the cloud is broken at times. Just a brief breakthough of weak sunshine in late afternoon.
5th
LP 983 hPa Northern Scotland, LP 978 hPa W of Ireland. A spell of rain starting just before 08.00 lasting until 10.00. The rest of the morning is mainly dry but the afternoon brings some short sunny spells and a few showers, some heavy and one with small hail for a few moments.

A bright morning with sunny spells lasting into early afternoon. Becoming more cloudy as the afternoon continues into evening.

Weak ridge from HP 1032 hPa W of Portugal. A bright day with sunny spells, the best of the sunshine through the middle part of the day .

A spell of rain in the early hours. Intermittent light rain/drizzle in mid-morning brightening later to give a glimpse of sunshine in the middle of the day.The afternoon is generally overcast and dull.
9th
Very cloudy start with low cloud breaking in mid-morning to give some long sunny spells.

1029 hPa Benelux. An overcast and rather dull day under a slow moving warm front.

1026 hPa Denmark. Early mist is slow to clear, becoming brighter after 10.00 with hazy sunshine. Thin high cloud persists through spells of hazy sunshine but becoming more cloudy by mid-afternoon.

A cloudy morning, becoming overcast and dull in the afternoon with some light drizzle.

HP 1040 hPa NE of Azores. A sunny day, despite extensive thin high cloud making the sunshine hazy at times.

HP 1039 hPa NNE of Azores & 1038 hPa Biscay. A rather cloudy day but with a couple of sunny intervals in the morning and a longer sunny spell in early afternoon.

HP 1034 hPa English Channel. A hazy start with the sky clearing to give long spells of bright sunshine with variable amounts of small clouds through the day.
16th
Fog and mist clears to give hazy sunshine by 08.30. The haze lessens to give some long spells of bright sunshine, especially in the afternoon.
17th
Bright morning with sunny spells and patches of high cloud. Increasingly cloudy in the afternoon and rather dull by sunset.
18th
A little drizzle just after sunrise. A very cloudy day with just a few moments of brightness.
19th
Mainly overcast sky with just a couple of brief moments of brightness.
20th
LP 971 hPa N of Scotland. Another very cloudy day with little brightness. A spell of rain passing from the NW in mid-afternoon; with cloud breaking up a little, late in the day.

A bright but fresh day with some long spells of sunshine and variable amounts of cloud throughout daytime.

LP 1002 hPa Wales. A little brightness at the start of the day but becoming overcast in mid-morning with continous rainfall through to early afternoon followed by a shorter spell of rain later. Remaining cloudy and mainly dull after the rain clears although a little brighter by sunset. A further band of rain arrives from the SE in the night.
23rd
A long spell of light rain and drizzle continues overnight. A cloudy day with a cool breeze, a short spell of sunshine in the morning and a longer spell in late afternoon.
24th
HP 1035 hPa off NE England. Rather persistent low cloud breaks up only late in the day to give some hazy sunshine, a cool breeze again.
25th
HP 1034 hPa NE England. A mainly sunny day although slightly hazy at times with patchy high cloud and a cooling breeze.
26th
HP 1030 hPa off E Scotland. Some long spells of susnhine although again slightly hazy at times with areas of patchy high cloud. A less strong and cool breeze.
27th
HP 1027 C Europe. After a rather dull and murky start, low cloud breaks up in mid-morning and clears to give a long period of hazy sunshine.
28th
Fog with visibility below 200m first thing, slowly clearing to mist and then hazy sunshine by midmorning. Sunny spells through the middle of the day but rather cloudy by late afternoon.
29th
A rather cloudy day, brighter for a time in early afternoon with a short sunny spell. Cloudier in the afternoon with some light spots of drizzle before brightening a little at the day's end.
30th
A fine day with some sunny spells, but high cloud is extensive throughout the day and thick enough to weaken or block the sunshine for spells in both the morning and afternoon.
