LP 996 hPa near Faroe Islands, HP 1034 hPa Azores. Some light rain and drizzle during the early hours of the morning. A very cloudy day, cloud breaks up a little in early afternoon but giving just a few sunny intervals.
2nd
HP 1032 hPa Azores ridging NE. An overcast and gloomy start with a few spots of drizzle, but the cloud clears away soon after 09.00 giving near unbroken sunshine for the remainder of the day.
3rd
A rather cloudy day with a few sunny spells in the morning and afternoon and a longer spell of sunshine in the evening.
4th
A sunny period in the morning but becoming more cloudy from late morning and through the afternoon although still with some sunny intervals. Sky clears somewhat in the evening.
5th
HP 1022 hPa NE Scotland. Long spells of sunshine with some thin high Cirrus cloud patches in the morning and cumulus in the afternoon.
6th
A bright day with many long sunny spells, but with plenty of medium/high cloud at times.
7th
As per the previous day, bright but with longer sunny spells. Plenty of medium/high cloud at times. Feeling just a little fresher with a breeze.

A more cloudy day with fewer sunny spells than the preceding days, and the best of the sunshine in the afternoon.

Cloudy to start but beginning to clear from mid-morning. Mainly sunny in the afternoon and evening.

Rather cloudy morning but sunny spells in the afternoon.

LP 1003 hPa Southern tip of Ireland. Mainly overcast day with a short spell of brightness after some drizzle in late morning. The afternoon becomes overcast again with rain arriving from the west after 16.30; light at first, heavier in the evening then turning to drizzle.

LP 1005 hPa Hampshire. Light rain and drizzle continue for a time then rain turning much heavier between 3am - 5am as an occlusion crosses. Rain clears slowly by 07.30. The day is overcast during the morning with cloud very slowly clearing to give some sunny intervals later.

HP 1023 hPa southern North Sea. A fine start with a long sunny spell but becoming cloudy after mid-morning. Early afternoon is very cloudy but brightens a little later with more sunny spells.

HP 1031 hPa Azores ridging NE. A near repeat of the previous day.
15th
A very cloudy day with few breaks in the cloudsheet during the morning and just after midday. The afternoon and evening are overcast.
16th
A short spell of sunshine in the early morning followed by a long cloudy period. Brightening from mid-afternoon with some short sunny spells later.
17th
HP 1026 hPa Wales. A long sunny period through most of the morning and early afternoon but high cloud becomes more extensive later.
18th
A mixture of cloudy and sunny spells with the best of the sunshine in the middle of the day. Some light rain in late evening.
19th
An intense thunderstorm in the early hours, with lightning and thunder more or less constant for about an hour. Rain is torrential for a prolonged spell giving a new site record total of 25.6 mm rainfall in a single hour. Some short lived sunshine after 07.00 but the rest of the day is mainly overcast and rather dull with some spots of drizzle. Some sunny intervals in late afternoon.
20th
LP 994 hPa S of Iceland. A spell of rain in the early hours which is briefly very heavy. Overcast morning with another short-lived burst of heavy rain near midday, becoming brighter in the afternoon with some sunny spells.
21st
LP 993 hPa Ireland. A sunny start, with cloud slowly building through mid-morning. Rather cloudy at times in the middle of the day but with sunny spells later. A spell of rain as a cold front passes over from the west in the night.
22nd
LP 997 hPa southern Ireland. Rain continues overnight just after midnight, then a shower before dawn. A cloudy morning with some sunny spells. More cloudy from early afternoon with a spell of heavy rain around 15.00 accompanied by a sharp drop in temperature. Becoming brighter again after the clearance with some more sunny intervals. Another spell of heavy rain starts a little before midnight.
23rd
LP 1007 hPa North Sea W of Denmark. Rain continues for a time overnight. A mainly cloudy day with a few short sunny spells and intervals.
24th
A poor day; cool, overcast and dull with intermittent drizzle and light rain through morning and much of the afternoon.
25th
Rather cloudy morning but with some spells of sunshine in the afternoon and evening.
26th
LP 982 hPa S of Iceland. Some short-lived brightness in the morning but becoming overcast with a spell of light rain and drizzle arriving from the west by 10.30. Rain clears in early afternoon with just a very brief glimpse of sunshine before becoming overcast again and breezy soon after.

LP 981 hPa SSE of Iceland. Mainly cloudy with some short spells of sunshine in the afternoon and a couple of light, brief rain showers.

LP 987 hPa W of Outer Hebrides. Cloudy morning with a few sunny intervals. Becoming overcast by mid-afternoon with a spell of light rain and drizzle.

LP 992 hPa NW of NW Scotland, LP 1005 hPa S of Ireland and W of Biscay. A fine morning although sunsine is again limited to a few short spells. Overcast by mid-afternoon with a long spell of rain pushing across from the SW.
30th
LP 994 hPa W of Outer Hebrides and LP 994 hPa North Sea. A spell of rain in the early hours of the morning, the day is rather cloudy at times but also with many sunny spells throughout.
31st
Some short sunny spells in the morning but very cloudy at times in the middle of the day. Sky starts to clear in mid-afternoon giving longer sunny spells.
