HP 1023 Azores ridging slightly NE. A fine day with some long sunny spells and variable amounts of cloud.
2nd
LP 990 hPa S of Iceland, W of Ireland. A cloudy morning, becoming overcast and dull in early afternoon as a long spell of rain pushes across from the SW.
3rd
LP 993 hPa NE Scotland. A spell of light rain/drizzle in the early hours. Rather cloudy and windy with a sunny spell in mid-morning and early afternoon. Cloudy through much of the afternoon but a little brighter in the evening with the wind starting to ease too.
4th
LP 994 hPa Southern Norway. A fine and sunny start with cloud building up by mid-morning. Plenty of sunny spells through the middle of the day, afternoon and evening.
5th
Cloudy to start but beginning to brighten by mid-morning. Some sunny spells in late morning and early afternoon before two bands of showers cross in mid-afternoon during which the temperature drops sharply. Becoming brighter again with more sunny spells in late afternoon.
6th
Periods of sunshine in the morning and afternoon but cloudier for a time in the middle of the day.
7th
A rather cloudy day with some sunshine in the first part of the morning and a little more late in the day.

LP 1007 hPa Belgium. Rather foggy early on with low cloud slowly breaking to give some sunny intervals by late morning. Some short sunny spells in the first part of the afternoon but becoming overcast later.

LP 1005 hPa W of Denmark. A cloudy morning with some sunny intervals, becoming overcast by midday. Very slow moving, trailing fronts edge south-eastward during the afternoon bringing prolonged heavy rain lasting into the early part of the night.

LP 1019 hPa Belgium. A spell of light rain in the early hours. A very cloudy morning with little blue sky. Rather dull through the middle of the day with only a very slow temperature rise, clearing a little later to give a few sunny intervals.

LP 988 hPa between Iceland and Norway. A fine morning with some long sunny spells into early afetrnoon. Cloud thickens steadily through the afternoon to allow just a few sunny intervals.

Rather cloudy for long spells but also some sunny spells in late morning and through some of the afternoon and evening.

HP 1023 Brittany. Early cloud clears around 07.00 to give a mainly sunny day with sunshine only interrupted briefly a couple of times in the afternoon until high cloud thickens to the west in the evening.

Rather extensive high cloud for much of the day, but some long sunny spells in the morning and first part of the afternoon. Cloud thickens and spreads later to block sunshine for most of the rest of the day.

LP 1000 hPa Faroe Islands. A spell of rain in the hour before sunrise. Overcast and a little murky first thing with sky starting to clear by mid-morning to give sunny spells through the rest of the day.

LP 985 hPa S of Iceland, NW of Ireland. A cloudy morning with a few sunny intervals. More broken cloud in the afternoon with a few short sunny spells

LP 986 hPa Faroe Islands. A spell of moderate rain in the early hours followed by intermittent light drizzle later which clears by late morning. rather cloudy afternoon with some short sunny spells.

LP 995 hPa Orkney. A heavy rain shower in the hour before dawn followed by a bright and breezy day with sunny spells.
19th
Bright and breezy with sunny spells but rather cloudy for a time in the middle of the day with a light and brief rain shower that barely wet the ground.
20th
A bright morning with sunny spells. Increasingly cloudy in the afternoon, becoming overcast with light rain by evening.

HP 1023 Germany. Near continuous light rain and drizzle during the night, finally clearing in mid morning. Remaining heavily overcast and gloomy all day.

Overcast and dull start, remaining very cloudy most of the day with a few short sunny spells in the afternoon. A couple of rain showers after dark.

A very cloudy day and a little misty to start, with a few sunny intervals in the morning and early afternoon.

Cloudy at times after another slightly misty start but bright with some short sunny spells morning and afternoon.

Bright at first but very hazy. Haze decreases in time to give some long sunny spells from mid-morning onwards.
